Continental Asset Management Sponsors 2025 ECAMA Annual Conference with MWK6 Million Contribution

Continental Asset Management reaffirmed its commitment to advancing economic dialogue and sustainable development in Malawi by sponsoring the 2025 Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA) Annual Conference to the tune of MWK 6 million.

The two-day conference, held from October 30–31, 2025, at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi, brought together economists, policymakers, private sector leaders, and development partners under the theme “Beyond the Crises: Reshaping the Economy.” The discussions focused on building economic resilience, balancing fiscal discipline with development aspirations, and financing growth amid macroeconomic challenges.

Speaking during the cheque presentation, Continental Asset Management’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Gillian Kachikondo, highlighted the importance of supporting platforms that foster constructive dialogue and innovative solutions to Malawi’s economic challenges.
